Have you ever wondered
what all the people are listening to when they travel on public
transport? That thought has crossed Andreas Österberg's mind
many times, and in spring 2011 he ended up creating a soundtrack
to the classic tram line 11 in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Gothenburg is well-known for its tram system, which covers most
of the city, thus makes it the most extensive tram system in
Sweden and Scandinavia.
Tram line
11
travels
from the suburb Bergsjön,
throughout the city
and further
out towards
Saltholmen
and
the
sea.
A journey from one side of
Gothenburg to the other.
The trip was filmed and the music he made is synced for the trip
and tries to catch the atmosphere around the stops along the
line. Ten great songs that represent the different sections of
the trip.
Each song also got an unique art work
that breathes the part of town that you pass through.
